MOVED IN!

Sorry guys, was a little too busy for the past 3 days due to the intensive cleaning and moving in.

It was really a back breaking experience. Seriously, i would never want to move house again. Without movers, everything gotta move yourself. Thanks to my boss, which allow me to use the company van to ferry  my stuffs over to the new place.

Was quite heartbreaking to leave my parents, as i've stayed with them since i was born. Parents took care of everything and we as their sons/daughter just open mouth and things will arrive on our hands. Now staying at our own house, we have to take care of the household chores and groceries.

Speaking about groceries, me & my wife within 2 days just spent almost $200 worth of stuffs. Imagine the money spent!

Anyway will post up some photos pretty soon. Tomorrow i will shift more stuffs from my parents house.

Moving in on 24th May!

Date has been confirmed.

There are still a couple of rectification work need to be done.

1) Feature Wall @ Living Room. (Gavin will replace a new one for me)
2) Water heater tank haven't connect to electrical source
3) Aluminium door with glass panel at Kitchen sink above.
4) Ventilation hole to be replastered.
5) To re-do silicone on kitchen sink and stove.

Carpentry works! Part 3. 90% complete.

Went down yesterday to do another spot check. And find that the whole entire house already kind of "wrapped up". no cardboard paper on the ground, everything was swept clean. Msg Gavin 2 days back that i want those carpenters to rectify all the alignment issue and he said he will. But unfortunately he was down with sore throat and didn't went down to spot check hence giving me more headache and frustration!

Will post up shortly on the defects. But let me post some nice pictures of our house first.

Kitchen cabinets open sesame. And the problem of using hydraulic,When you close, you have to be careful. If not, will be slamming sound. The top cabinets, i guess i will put less things because once open as I will need to grab a chair to close it. -.-

Hydraulic brand. simi iRex. sibei no originality. Ever since iPhone came out, lots of products name after and "i" example iGallop, iSqueeze, i-simi-sai. Gotta come with my own also. iCum. For female sex toy, iOrgasm. 

Stainless steel dish rack... Poor design IMHO. Basically u have to wipe all the plates dry before u put in. Why? Because if u look at the side. If my hands wet, water drip OUTSIDE the tray. i think GG liao. wood will start to have BUMP here and there. -.-

Now for the defects. See already also pek chek. Angry, frustration and clearly the carpenters don't have the heart to do. sloppy work. Immediately called up Gavin to express my displeasure over this. He didn't know what i was saying, so he say he will come over today to take a look.

He told me that, don't rush him to do the carpentry, as he got a few team of carpenters that their skill is good. asking me to wait as i need to que up. I don't mind to wait, as my house is not doing anything for approximately 1wk. As my wife is in the last trimester and giving birth in July. I have to push him a little bit.

If my wife is not pregnant, seriously, i don't bloody care u take how long. u want to take 2 mths slowly take one piece of wood everyday to build my wardrobe i don't mind. 

But if this is the kind of carpenters you have. I think its best not to proclaim them as the best, as i have seen better outside there.

Anyway i think i have to give Gavin abit of credit here. Although the carpenters abit bay kan. But he still apologise to me and tell me he will rectify for me.. The feeling sucks i know. I have 2 guys under me, they do something wrong, i kena fuck. Apologise to them and kan my guys lor.

Boxup and wardrobe not aligned properly. This one i really cannot accept.

So left side got 2 screws. Right side got 1. Run out of screw? Or he thinks that i'm stupid don't know how to open and see? 

Living room feature wall. So the feature wall width is shorter than the TV console? considered a feature? I thought it supposed to aligned with the TV console?

Carpentry! Part 2.

Was too tired to do any blogging yesterday. So here it goes!

MBR Toilet. We can't do too big due to the door given by HDB. Seriously it was a very poor design by them. 

Princess room. My colleagues claim abit "ah-ma" kind. =( Which i find it quite nice leh. =\ Anyway up to individual ba.

My working room. Basically left side will be for my wife and right side for me. 

 Living room. A little messy. Will be doing the door next day.

Kitchen Cabinets. Still on going.

Carpentry works.part 1

Received a call from Gavin on Monday morning that all his carpenters will be there to do up all the cabinets, wardrobe & feature wall.

Immediately msg my wife to tell her and she can't wait to go over yesterday night. So here it goes!

Our 11ft wardrobe. To be honest, we both don't have much clothing. My home which is 6ft is more than enough. 11ft probably gives my wife more reasons to buy clothes and fill it up. =X

Right hand side. To be honest, i will prefer more drawers than those rack. Because the moment you throw your tee shirt inside right to the end, you will probably end up taking the teeshirt right infront of you instead of the back. We entitled to 8 drawers but we requested 6 instead. Now kind of regret my choice. Bo pian. first time own a flat. simi lan sai also don't know. -.-

Right hand side wardrobe left shelf. For my wife's bags and other barangs.

Left side wardrobe. Probably for me. As i don't have so much clothes.

A feature that i like. Behind this wardrobe is actually a window to access condenser outdoor unit. So its covered up! How ah?

Trying to open the window but i think its freaking hard to open due to the back of the wardrobe blocking by the wood. =\ will feedback to Gavin on this.

Woman favourite corner.

Husband favourite cabinet. Inside will be with cabletv & my mini-itx pc/mediaplayer.

 Featured wall in MBR. 2 x HDMI 1.4A, 1 x CAT6 lan cable will be running back to my cabinet.

I'm back with big update! (Window Grilles)

I'm back. My apologies for not blogging this few days. Infact maybe probably a week already. Was tied up with work and our dear Gavin didn't msg us anything. So we didn't head down much.

First of all, wanted to thanks Reine & Alexius for sending Jamie some pictures about our windows grille installation last saturday. Without them, we are still clueless when are they coming to install or probably Gavin did informed me but i was too busy with my work. =\

Sooo, since i'm covering this topic about window grille, let me talk abit why we intend to install. Take note, this is just my POV (point of view).

1. For Safety reasons. I'm living at the highest floor and i'm a little scared of height. You must be wondering why i took the highest floor then. Because of no obstruction of view and its more windy (apparently not this few weeks =( )
2. If the poles outside the service yard is not enough for our usage, we can actually make used of the grille to "hang" our clothes as well. Though it might be a little unsightly, but heck, we are facing afternoon sun and we tend to wash clothes in the noon.
3. One word - Kids. Need to explain more?

So young couples who want to start a family, you might want to start installing the grille first. As when you or wife get pregnant, you need to find a day where your wife is not around to install the grille as it involves drilling.

Now if you are not intending to start a family, you can don't install also. But make sure you stock up your condoms to prevent misfiring. OR take note of your wife period cycle.

Carpentry work is on its way. Will take some time est. this 2 weeks to deliver to our house.
